Mission

Today, Africa represents 59% of the world’s 300 million francophones. In 2060, that number will increase to 85%, with 850 million French speakers. There are more French-speaking Christians on the African continent than in the rest of the world. In Sub-Saharan Africa, Christianity has become the most widely practiced religion (63%) ahead of Islam (30%) and traditional beliefs. For over 20 years, Africa has been the continent with the fastest growth of Christians.

Notre mission consiste à glorifier Dieu en faisant des disciples à travers les frontières culturelles en proclamant et en mettant en pratique l’évangile de Jésus-Christ par la puissance du Saint-Esprit.

À l’heure actuelle, plus de 300 ouvriers internationaux canadiens répondent fidèlement à l’appel de Dieu pour leur vie, en travaillant dans plus de 70 pays situés dans quatre régions du monde, dont Jonathan et Anne Bersot.

Teaching the teachers

By training the trainers of the church leaders, its Bible School directors and teachers, multitudes are directly or indirectly impacted with the missionary message.

Jonathan’s ministry at WAAST which began in 2009, has impacted over 600,000 Christians by training leaders who, in turn ,teach in local churches and bible schools.
